{"id":882,"date":"2014-06-23T23:00:14","date_gmt":"2014-06-23T23:00:14","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ourhouse.ilearnedthehardway.com\/wordpress\/?p=882"},"modified":"2019-06-29T12:26:25","modified_gmt":"2019-06-29T12:26:25","slug":"day-with-the-new-pressure-washer","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ourhouse.ilearnedthehardway.com\/?p=882","title":{"rendered":"Day with the new Pressure Washer"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I don&#8217;t know anyone that doesn&#8217;t like to use a pressure washer!! \u00a0I read the user&#8217;s manual, added oil, gas and the hose and started on the back deck (just about where the old pressure washer died)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I played around with the different sprayer nozzles and decided on the &#8220;cleaning nozzle&#8221;. \u00a0It took a bit longer than I thought, but then I moved on to the shed, where you can really see the difference. \u00a0Lots of green algae on the front and side.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" src=\"https:\/\/ourhouse.ilearnedthehardway.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/shed1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-948\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ourhouse.ilearnedthehardway.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/shed1.jpg 640w, https:\/\/ourhouse.ilearnedthehardway.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/shed1-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>about 10 minutes later it is ready to be painted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" src=\"https:\/\/ourhouse.ilearnedthehardway.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/shed2.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-949\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ourhouse.ilearnedthehardway.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/shed2.jpg 640w, https:\/\/ourhouse.ilearnedthehardway.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/shed2-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I still want to wait on the painting because depending on what we pick for the front of the house, may end up being the deciding factor, but it&#8217;s clean!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I switched sprayer nozzles to the one that &#8220;strips&#8221; (gotta say, I like this one a whole lot better than the &#8220;clean&#8221; nozzle) and headed out front. \u00a0There is a stupid white spot on the front walkway, it may be paint, it may be cement\u2026who the hell knows? \u00a0I don&#8217;t want to try chemicals because that would most likely kill the grass, so tried the stripper!
